President Donald Trump is facing a growing political challenge as new polling data shows his net approval rating has fallen into negative territory in 47 of the 50 U.S. states.
The figures, based on Economist/YouGov polling, show that Trump’s support remains positive in only three states: Wyoming, Idaho and West Virginia.
Trump’s net approval stands at +14 in Wyoming, +9 in Idaho and +6 in West Virginia.

Among the states highlighted in recent polling, Trump’s net approval is -31 in Georgia, -25 in North Carolina, -31 in Maine, -22 in Texas and -27 in Michigan.

An Economist/YouGov poll found that 33% of Americans approved of Trump’s job performance, while 62% disapproved, leaving him with a net approval rating of -29.
