The billionaire financier embroiled in New Jersey’s biggest divorce copped to “dating’’ another woman — but claimed the pair never had sex or even got naked, according to bizarre cop body-cam footage.
The video — filmed by Millburn police responding to one of several police calls to the troubled family’s mansion in 2023 — reveals odd new details about the sensational case pitting John Overdeck against estranged wife Laura in her battle for a mind-boggling $6.2 billion. The hubby, a 56-year-old dad of three, calls his unnamed gal pal “a little bit of a live wire” in the footage while describing their strange relationship for officers in October of that year — less than a year after he filed for the split.
“We are having a dating relationship, but we’ve never had sex,” he said in the video, which was obtained by The Post.
The husband went on to share that his lady friend had a key to his bachelor pad in Florham Park, NJ, and that they were seeing each other “a couple of times a week” but claimed they “never had our clothes off” in each other’s company.
The woman had called cops to the Overdecks’ marital home in Short Hills after John canceled a dinner date with her and she claimed she also wanted to resolve some undescribed issues. The pissed-off lady pal ranted to officers outside the 6,000-square-foot mansion, “He’s just using me and [trying] to keep me quiet so that I don’t harm his reputation.
“Two years have gone by — I’ve been quiet,” she told the officers.
It’s not clear when the pair began “dating.’’ The Overdecks have been married for more than 20 years — without a prenup.
Laura Overdeck, 56, drove up to the scene at one point and separately told cops she wanted her “toxic ex soon-to-be ex-husband and her out of here.
“I can’t have this anymore. I need you guys to help,” Laura said.
When one of the cops suggested to her that the pair wasn’t dating and called the situation “convoluted,” she shot back quickly that she had “hotel receipts” and “pretty incriminating evidence” to the contrary.
“Frankly, it’s not even that complicated. He’s got a psycho girlfriend, and he’s got to get out. It’s not that complicated. Like, I just want her to leave my kids alone,’’ the wife said.
The gal pal was furious with John Overdeck at the time because she said they had dinner plans but that he decided to dine with his son instead.
“ ‘It’s our turn together. I’m not allowing this,’ ” John told the cops his girlfriend said. “ ‘So if you don’t care for me, then that’s that. I’ve had it with you.’
“She feels that I’m using her because, you know, I’m family first,” he told the officers.
One of the cops said, “A tale as old as time.”
Another officer chimed in, “The advice we’re gonna give is break it off with her.’’
Laura is seeking 35% of her hubby’s stake in his Two Sigma fund — after turning down his offer of more than $600 million.
He is due to continue testifying on the stand in Newark court Tuesday.
Her rep declined comment to The Post.
His camp did not immediately respond to a Post request for comment.
